Blade description:

The Nittaku Actec is a high-performance table tennis blade designed for players seeking a perfect balance between speed and control. Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, the Actec delivers a feel that is both solid and responsive, making it an ideal choice for competitive players who emphasize precision and technique in their gameplay. The blade is crafted to enhance the spin and speed of the ball while providing ample feedback to the player, ensuring an engaging playing experience.

This blade features a unique composition, primarily constructed with high-quality wood, allowing for a classic feel while still catering to modern playing styles. The incorporation of carbon layers gives it added stiffness, resulting in increased power and energy transfer upon impact with the ball. The Nittaku Actec is categorized as a medium-weight blade, providing a balanced heft that allows for quick action without causing fatigue during long matches. Its thickness further contributes to the blade’s ability to absorb vibrations, enabling players to maintain excellent touch and feel, even during high-speed exchanges.

Flexibility of the Actec is noteworthy, as it combines a degree of stiffness with a forgiving nature, allowing players to execute a wide array of shots, from delicate pushes to powerful smashes. This feature makes it suitable for both offensive and more strategic styles of play. For those seeking alternatives, blades such as the Nittaku Acoustic or Butterfly Timo Boll ALC could also be considered, as they offer similar attributes but with variations in feel and performance. Overall, the Nittaku Actec stands out as an exceptional choice for players looking to enhance their game through a well-rounded and dependable blade.

When Table Tennis released the Nittaku Meister ACtec table tennis blade, I bought it on June 9, 2024. I was probably the first to own it. I have used a few Nittaku blades as follows: Nittaku Large Spear, Meister Balsatec outer and inner, Barwell Fleet, Meister ACtec. Cornilleau Gatien Pure, Glory, Absolute, Conquest, and have experienced a few blades from other brands such as: Yasaka Alnade, Butterfly Lin Gao Yuan ALC, Sadius, TMB ALC, TMB ZLC, Zhang Zike ALC, ZLC, Super ZLC, Fang Zhen Dong ALC, Super ZLC. Andro Treiber Z, Q. The aesthetics of Nittaku blades are very beautiful, sophisticatedly crafted, precious wood, and the feeling of playing is very special, unlike other brands. Playing with Nittaku blades, I always feel very excited. Playing with Nittaku has a different feeling and emotion compared to other brands’ blades. (I don’t mean to criticize other brands’ blades, please forgive me, fans of other brands) The feeling when playing with Meister ACtec is good, better than Meister Outer and Inner. The feeling of control is good, the response in each hit is good, soft, good enough speed. But in my opinion, it is a bit lacking in bounce, internal force. The vibration is low so when the ball bounces, it is not very powerful. Currently, the main blade I play is Barwell Fleet and the backup is ACtec although the speed of Barwell Fleet < ACtec. Barwell Fleet has very high spin grip, high control, high gear, the ability to hit the ball on the table easily, especially good for backhand, but the feeling is not as soft as ACtec. I have bought several times from Tabletennis11.com and rated 5 stars for overall service, arguably the best in the world. Above are some of my shares, hope it will be useful for you.
