All-wood
One of the best blades I ever played with. Every training session, I borrow it from my friend.
The combination of Tibhar Bluegrip C2 on forehand, and Tibhar K1 Hybrid on backhand, is very good.
This blade is expensive, but it is a dream to play with. The feeling is indescribable and must be experienced firsthand.
The best blade that you can imagine. Control and feeling are outstanding. You can masterfully manipulate the ball with this blade. Speed and spin are fabulous. You can do whatever you want with this blade, from delicate touch shots to powerful smashes.
The blade consists of 6 layers, measuring 6.7 mm in thickness.
The two central layers are made of Kiso Hinoki, oriented vertically. The two adjacent layers are also made of Kiso Hinoki, but oriented horizontally. The two outer layers are made of walnut wood.
Despite not being particularly light (92 grams), it is a well-balanced blade.
The Kiso Hinoky provides significant power for fast shots and excellent control for blocks.
Spin is very pronounced when executing topspins or backspins.
This blade is not suitable for use with long pimple rubbers, even when combined with a frictionless rubber like the MEGA-BLOCK (1.0 mm).
On my forehand side, I use a DONIC BARACUDA (maximum thickness), which proves to be a highly effective combination for generating topspins with ample spin.
The only drawback is its high price, but the playing experience it provides is exceptional.
Please excuse any errors in my English.
This blade is a marvel of craftsmanship, built with top-tier materials for exceptional performance.
It offers blazing speed with impressive control, perfect for sophisticated players who crave precision.
However, like a Ferrari, it’s not for everyday use; it’s a tool for the connoisseur.
Very good blade. It offers great control, and I’m very happy with it.
I haven’t used a hinoki blade before. I now understand why it’s common to use Japanese-style rubbers.
These softer rubbers really come alive with this blade, offering amazing speed and control. I can do it all with my setup: loop, flat hits, chop, counter, etc. I use Fastarc P-1 on the forehand and G-1 on the backhand.
Another wonderful blade from Nittaku. Along with the Barwell Fleet, this is the best blade I’ve ever used. It has excellent feeling and control.
Stiffer than the Barwell Fleet, their characteristics are almost identical. I use the same rubber combination on both blades, so they are easy to compare. Both blades are expensive and well-made.
Although I slightly favor this blade, the Barwell Fleet is the better bargain at three-quarters of the price, unless the Goriki Super Drive is discounted in the weekly specials.
Delivery was very fast, and the service was excellent, as usual.
This blade has helped improve my game, offering great control and power when needed.
Having switched from a Stiga Carbonado 190, I’ve found this blade excels in all areas. Whether lifting the ball, pushing, or spinning, it can handle it all.
I have Rakza X installed on the backhand and Dignics 09C on the forehand; the setup works great.
Delivery was very fast, and the service was excellent.
The Goriki Super Drive combines the best qualities of two wood types: Hinoki and Walnut, in an outer-ply construction! This blade has a unique combination and provides an excellent feeling of the ball.
The feedback that this blade transmits to your hand is almost unbelievable. While it is relatively slow during service returns, the short game, and soft strokes, it offers clear feedback, which leads to good precision in placement.
The strongest aspect of this blade is its topspin game, offering a near-perfect balance of speed, spin, and placement. For my personal playing style, I prefer stiffer blades. The Goriki is relatively stiff, but I’ve been using the Barwell Fleet for almost four years now, and it’s even stiffer, making it a better fit for my game. Otherwise, I would continue playing with the Goriki Super Drive because it has a wonderful feel!
Super Drive is more comfortable in the hand.
It offers superb control over the ball. A+.
I bought this blade for my 10-year-old who plays competitive table tennis. It’s a bit heavy in the hand, but the blade produces excellent control and ball placement.
If your technique is correct, the blade produces a sweet sound on your returns. This blade is of very good quality, and my child now likes it more than her Butterfly Timo Boll FL.
I received the blade quickly. Initially, it feels a little heavy, but it’s also very powerful. Overall, I like this blade. Good.
I’ve only played with this blade twice, but it’s great. It’s good for attacking, driving, smashing, blocking, and even chopping away from the table.
I use a 2.2 mm black Haifu Whale II (tuned) on the forehand and a 2.2 mm red RITC 563-1 on the backhand (Japanese version, which is completely different from the “cheap” version).
Nearly stiff feeling, this blade makes it very easy to place the ball on the opponent’s side. It facilitates a powerful attack from mid-distance to close-table play.
Paired with Evolution MX-S on the forehand and H3-50 soft on the backhand, it creates a very nice combo.
Overall, this blade is worth 5/5.
