Composite/carbon
This blade provides great spin and control. It is the same blade used by Morizono with Nittaku Fastarc G1 and Tenergy 05, making it the perfect equipment for table tennis.
All-around blade. Excellent blocking on the backhand.
Mine is 95gm, heavier than the average blade, and thus requires good footwork to make strong forehand attacks.
The handle is large but soft and comfortable; it can be sanded easily. High-quality craftsmanship.
I wouldn’t categorize this blade as OFF. When you hit a proper stroke, the blade flexes a lot and produces really heavy balls loaded with power and spin!
It is faster than my Viscaria (87g) on powerful shots but slower on short touch. My blade is 94g, and I later reduced the head size to 158x152, making it 92.7g and providing much better weight balance.
It has a really clear vibration, which I like, especially when you hit hard. For me, blocking with the backhand required a longer stroke forward; otherwise, I sometimes hit the net. This doesn’t happen with my Viscaria, for example, but with this ‘active’ type of block, you get more out of your shot and apply more pressure to the opponent.
The only con for me was the big head size (which I easily fixed) because it made it hard to do banana flicks. I tested it with Rasanter C53 max on both sides.
Excellent. It’s my favorite.
Very nice blade, with a lot of control for an offensive blade.
Compared to my Xiom Vega Europe blade, it seems to be a bit slower, which is actually pretty okay for me. Currently using it with Xiom Omega V max rubbers.
Mine weighs 96g. When paired with Tenergy 05 and 80 2.1mm, the total weight is a perfect 195g.
It has a great touch and an awesome handle, especially for those with bigger hands. It’s very good for serving and receiving, offering great spin and control. There’s enough speed, but it’s not a rocket.
Overall, the craftsmanship is excellent.
I played with the blade, and it is really fast. The weight was 95 grams, heavy but stable. You will like it if you don’t like Butterfly and normal Nittaku handles because LG is an art of craftsmanship.
It is made in China, but the quality is top-notch in Japan.
I’ve only played with this blade twice, so this review is based on first impressions. However, I can say that this blade combines good power and high control in a special way. The speed is about OFF (not OFF+), and the feedback from the ball is always very clear.
The Ma Long Carbon LG is very good for service and return, especially for the first topspin! Blocking is really simple on both the forehand and backhand (I’m playing with a medium pimple on my backhand). Fast topspins are loaded with spin and speed.
The very unique, large handle is a mixture of concave and conical shapes and fits perfectly if you have larger hands, like I do. I will try it a few more times to decide if the Ma Long Carbon LG could be my new competition blade (I’ve been playing with the Barwell Fleet for over 4 years).
This blade is very powerful. If you have the proper technique, you will destroy your opponent with it.
The quality of construction is very high.
I purchased a significant quantity of this product and was so impressed that I recommended it to others.
Overall, the quality is excellent. In particular, the control and feel it provides are exceptional.
Very good paddle, the ideal weight, good impacts.
