All-wood
The Nittaku S-CZ blade is crafted with the finest spruce wood and carbon fleece Zylon, resulting in an exceptional feel. The FL handle provides perfect grip, enhancing your control over the blade.
Nittaku, renowned for producing world-class table tennis balls, has also demonstrated their expertise in blade manufacturing with the S-CZ. Despite its slightly slower speed compared to the Donic Waldner WC89 OFF blade, the S-CZ offers comparable qualities, including the polished craftsmanship that is synonymous with German blades.
For an optimal playing experience, Nittaku recommends using Evolution MXP (Max), Evolution MXS (Max), or Bluestorm Z2 (2.1) rubbers. However, other rubbers can also be used effectively.
Experience the exceptional performance of the Nittaku S-CZ blade, available at a favorable price from Tabletennis11. Their excellent service, quick shipping, and meticulous packaging ensure a seamless and satisfying purchase. Give this remarkable blade a try and elevate your table tennis game to the next level.
Long contact with the ball is a sluggish, flat game — you need to rotate it all the time.
Tedious basis.
Incredible craftsmanship as usual, Nittaku! The blade is Off, feeling very nice. I can produce a lot of spin and maintain good control. I think many have missed this!
Blade Overview:
The blade is exceptionally well-crafted, boasting a remarkable combination of speed, control, and feel. Its design is optimized for both offensive and defensive playstyles, making it a versatile choice for players of various skill levels. The blade exhibits impressive speed without compromising control. Its well-balanced design allows for rapid and powerful attacks, enabling players to execute sharp and precise shots with ease.
Control and Precision:
Despite its speed, the blade maintains remarkable control, providing players with the confidence to execute delicate shots and manipulate spin effectively. This control enables players to place shots with high accuracy and consistency, disrupting opponents' rhythm.
Feel and Response:
The blade offers an exceptional feel, providing players with a deep connection to the ball. Its responsive nature allows for delicate touch play and intuitive control, enhancing the player’s ability to anticipate and react to incoming shots.
Overall Impression:
Overall, this blade is a remarkable tool that empowers players to excel in both offensive and defensive styles of play. Its exceptional speed, control, and feel make it a suitable choice for players seeking versatility, precision, and an immersive playing experience.
It’s an OFF blade with little vibration, good control, yet still stiff but high throw and spin generating, with long pips ox. When you put two inverted the feeling gets mild, the throw it’s higher, and the control increases. Good with medium hard rubbers, with long pips ox, it’s not too fast but hard to control.
Well made, good-looking blade, surely worth the money. For me, better than Viscaria or Innerforce layer ZLC. It has a good feeling and control, maybe too soft with t05 fx and tsp ventus spin.
This is a beautiful new offering from Nittaku, but made by SoulSpin in Germany. The handle is one of the best I’ve ever seen this side of a custom blade.
It has the normal characteristics of a Zylon blade with Hinoki veneers.
Great touch in the short game but with plenty of power away from the table.
Compared to Primorac Carbon, this has more flex & spin but is a little slower and more controlled.
This has a similar composition to the Andro Treiber Z.
High quality blade that seems to do everything very well but nothing mind blowing.
88 grams is faster than the 90-gram Viscaria. The Nittaku Acoustic Carbon is faster than the Viscaria despite having the same weight due to the Carbon and ZLC combo. This makes it play more like a 86 gram Viscaria, but with a little more authority.
The Nittaku Acoustic Carbon is a stiffer blade than the Viscaria, which makes it better suited for loopers. The stiffer blade provides more power and support for looping, making it easier to generate spin and power.
The Nittaku Acoustic Carbon has a slightly higher throw angle than the Viscaria, which makes it better suited for players who like to loop from mid-distance. The higher throw angle gives the ball more time to drop and arc, making it more difficult for opponents to return.
Overall, the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon is a faster, stiffer, and higher-throw blade than the Viscaria. This makes it a better choice for loopers who like to play from mid-distance.
Nicely crafted high-quality wood, worthy of the Nittaku name. It is a little slower than it has been evaluated so far, but with a harder cover, it is a great offensive wood. Its management is above average. A small vibration can be felt during an offensive blow, which is not disturbing, but rare for composite wood. It can also be played very well with a grain covering. It is one of the more expensive woods, but it is worth the price. I can only recommend.
This blade inspires confidence and feels very good to play with.
It’s so good that I ordered another one. It’s almost identical to the Donic Appelgren WC 89, and I now have two of those as well.
This way, I have two identical setups to play with and two additional blades to experiment with.
Thanks TT11 once again for great service.
Cheers,
L-zr
This is a really nice blade. It’s an outer-ply blade but not too fast, offering a little flex and great vibration feedback. Currently, it’s my favorite. I prefer this one over the Basaltec Inner.
My only complaint is the handle size; it’s too small, so I use grip tape.
And again, thank you, TT11, for the excellent service.
Cheers,
L-zr.
This is a really nice looking and fast blade. However, it only gets 4 stars due to the relatively small handle and sweet spot.
The Nittaku blade displays impressive quality, even though it is made in Germany.
This is a reliable and very good blade for close-to-the-table play. It doesn’t offer a lot of dwell time but provides decent speed. It’s well-suited for spin-oriented play, close-to-the-table tactics, and looping.
The quality is amazing!
I have over 100 blades, including top brands like Butterfly, Donic, Nittaku, Xiom, and Stiga. Out of all of them, this one was my favorite. It has a unique feeling of holding the ball like no other blade I’ve used.
You can loop all day, and all shots land on the table due to the high spin generated by the exceptional dwell time. It’s also great for aggressive play close to the table. My blade was a lighter version at 81 grams, making it less suitable for playing away from the table. I’ve heard that heavier versions are good for playing even at a distance.
One of the reasons this blade was my favorite is that when paired with a sticky Chinese rubber on the forehand, it produced a high throw, making it easy to lift backspin and turning it into a looping machine.
This blade has possibly the best aesthetics and finishing of any blade I’ve seen, including top Butterfly models. It features a beautiful reddish wooden handle, rounded edges in the wing area, and is made with beautiful select 200-year-old European Spruce by Soulspin in Germany.
This was my favorite blade to play with because of the feeling it provides. However, it may not be the most suitable for high-level competitive play unless heavier versions have the penetrating power needed in competitive play from mid-distance.
Incredible control, feel, and spin, combined with a surprising amount of speed.
The craftsmanship is exceptional, a true collaboration between German engineering and Japanese precision.
Balance? Check. Short game? Check. Spin? Check. Power? Check.
Grip? Check. Lightweight? Check. Throw angle (medium-high)? Check.
Feel? Check. No weird surprises on ball flight? Check.
Craftsmanship? Check!
Save $50+ on a B___y V___ia blade? CHE-HECK YEAH! Such good value and fun!
Compared to carbon blades, this blade exhibits light vibration. It offers a distinct woody feeling coupled with a noticeable catapult effect.
The handle is generously sized at 101mm, while the head dimensions are a standard 157 x 150mm. The average weight is approximately 87 grams.
A very nice looking blade that performs very well. It offers a nice balance of speed, spin, and, most importantly, control.
The blade provides a very nice touch and feel, making ball placement easy. Its great craftsmanship and design are also notable.
5 STARS.
Good speed, control, feel, and build quality.
It’s a quality product.
It is a very nice blade with excellent workmanship; truly a piece of art.
It’s a little slow, but offers a nice touch and makes it easy to loop close to the table.
I would rate this as an offensive blade for all playing styles.
The build quality is top-notch; you can admire it endlessly.
While playing, the Zylon doesn’t feel noticeable at all. The blade quickly penetrates any rubber and shoots the ball. Compared to Photino/Xiom Vega Euro/Xiom ZX1, it offers very little time to process the ball, making spin generation difficult, but blocking is excellent. It was tested with Andro Hexer, TSP Regalis Blue, and Xiom Vega Pro rubbers.
Very good feeling blade with decent feedback and control. Beautifully designed and finished.
Cons: Highly priced.
Excellently finished blade. The artificial material reduces the woody feeling, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage depending on personal preference.
I prefer a woody feel.
This is a superb blade nevertheless.
The blade, designed for advanced players, offers medium stiffness. It weighs approximately 85 grams and provides excellent control, rated at 90. The craftsmanship is exceptional and noticeably superior. It is also very light.
83g, the handle is comfortable, but protrudes a bit too far from the blade. It doesn’t flex much during play.
Control is good, and the construction quality is high and aesthetically pleasing.
Good blade. Fast and lightweight.
