Review:

Very good blade!

#2Long Time Ago...

I will write this review in my native language; excellent automatic translators exist nowadays…

Several considerations:

  • The speed and control ratings on other reviews and other blades are generally nonsense. It is extremely difficult to rely on ratings under these conditions.
  • Additional characteristics such as the number of plies, the thickness (important), and the balance point of the blade would be welcome.
  • It would be appreciated if review authors would systematically specify which rubbers they used.

About the blade itself:

  • The weight of this blade is in the range of 70-75g, not 60g.
  • It’s a fairly thick blade (9.3mm), and that’s surprising at first…
  • …And since it’s balsa, it’s also a very loud blade. A huge “POC” sound when you play. Personally, I love it!

For context, I am a very offensive player who likes light blades. When I was very young, I played with a Tibhar Patrick Chila (+Speedy Spin/Black Techno 1.8) and then, more recently, with a Tibhar Rapid Carbon Light (+2 Rakza 7 2mm). At one point, I wanted a racket that was just as light but a little less demanding than the Rapid Carbon Light, so I turned to the Fibretec 75, which is a little less fast.

In short, I used the Fibretec 75 for 1 year with Xiom Vega Japan 2mm rubbers mounted on each side, and here’s what I noted:

  • The blade is very pleasant to play with. It vibrates a lot, and I like that feeling. Very pleasant sound as well.
  • The bet paid off compared to the Rapid Carbon Light: much more control.
  • The bet also paid off compared to the Chila: significantly more dynamic; you can hit hard at the table and at mid-distance.

That being said:

  • The manufacturing quality needs improvement: after 2 weeks, the “Fibretec 75” markings will be erased by your sweat.
  • After a year, an outer ply cracked for 3-4 cm… A fragile blade, then…

I bought this blade as an intermediate player and paired it with Xiom Vega Intro rubbers. However, the blade had a very high throw angle. My third loop consistently landed outside the table. This was either not my style or a result of a bad rubber combination.

Good blade.

This blade is quite thick compared to other fast blades, so if you put on 2.1mm rubber on either side, it will look very thick. Overall, it is very fast yet very light. You get better control and there is a catapult effect that is difficult to handle by the opponent.

This is an awesome blade, but it is way too fast to put a tensor on it. Try it with a slower rubber. Maybe a Chinese tacky rubber and it might work for you. I sold mine because I couldn’t control it.

The best blade I have used. Light and fast.

This blade has everything you wish for - SPEED, CONTROL, and is very maneuverable, and the price is more than decent.

Despite being a balsa blade, it is super spinny on slow shots, with Mk hibrid on the forehand and Friendship 804 on the backhand. It is light, weighing 156.4g for the fl handle and 149.5g for the an handle. If you want more spin, use gewo glue; if you want more speed, use revolution glue. Hope this helps.

This blade is awesome. Very light yet fast. I bought DHS Hurricane 3 on both sides and it’s a good combination. I can do flips and flicks without any problem. For the price of less than $60, you can’t go wrong with this. I’m happy that I tried it.

Excellent, recommended.

Great quality of this racket, very light but firm for FH and BH shots, this is the first classic racket I acquire; great quality and excellent value for money. Great for quick attacks. Point to mention is the quality of the material. I had the opportunity to train with a BTY Timo Boll - 7 ply - and it leaves nothing to be desired, now it’s just to improve the movements.

Good performance, very light, and great feeling.

I have been using this blade for 6 months. It is very light and fast. It works well with Tibhar ELS. Amazing speed and control when used with the new Butterfly Rozena 2.1 rubber.
