All-wood
A little better than TMXi (non Pro), but stiff. Looping is not as enjoyable as DHS Hurricane Long 3 or even Viscaria. It is a little hard. For its money, I would choose many other blades.
I own three AJH TMXi Pro blades. The AJH TMXi Pro is close to the W968 blade but plays like a mix between the W968 and Butterfly Viscaria.
In my opinion, the AJH TMXi Pro is truly a one-of-a-kind blade by Xiom. If I were to describe the blade, I would categorize it as “honest,” especially when using it with Hurricane 3 Neo. The blade, in combination with Chinese rubbers, is very linear and gives back exactly what the user puts into the shot. If technique and footwork are properly applied, you can make outstanding shots and really send over some dangerous rockets to your opponent.
Looping is a lot of fun, and the blade is very powerful. When looping, there is a strong feeling of ball holding and long dwell time. The headsize provides a lot of stability, which helps with looping, blocking, etc. Short and chopping games are also incredible with the AJH TMXi Pro.
I would recommend the AJH TMXi Pro to players who are on an intermediate level or higher and who prefer to create power themselves. Initially, some adjustment might be required due to the larger headsize. However, I believe that getting adjusted to the characteristics of the AJH TMXi Pro can be worth it due to its balanced characteristics, overall stability, and immense power.
Easier to control than Viscaria/FZD ALC but stiffer/faster than your typical inner carbon blade, think Harimoto ALC.
Great balance between power and control.
This is a great blade. Powerful and easy to control.
It’s my second review on TMXIPro, and I’m proud of it. I purchased two of these and just can’t get enough.
This genius creation can easily deliver devastation on the other side of the table while maintaining the ultimate level of control and speed. It’s the awesome product of the marriage between ZLC and ALC in a single blade, on both sides.
From the dimensions to the handle size, as well as the general weight, I can’t recall holding anything like it in my hand. And trust me, I’ve tried many. Check out my previous review.
Excellent paddle. I have been using the non-pro version for some time. You can feel the ball connect with the paddle. This pro version is even better.
I wish XIOM could make the handle bigger, like in the old days. The FL handle is a little smaller compared to a regular Viscaria FL handle.
Unfortunately, I can’t find a local craftsman who can switch the handle.
Better feeling than Long 5. Very good.
It’s a blade that performs well in all areas. I purchased this to compare it to the Provincial 968 after seeing positive reviews online, primarily from the Chinese community.
The backhand grips the ball effectively but also releases it promptly. This makes blocking solid and easy, unlike the 968 where the ball lingers too long, causing blocks to overshoot. Backhand loops are also easy to execute and generate good spin.
However, the forehand lacks the solid feel that others have described. When power looping away from the table, I often feel that the ball doesn’t leave the paddle with enough bite and friction. Unlike the 968, which gives me greater confidence the harder I loop from a distance, this blade makes me concerned about not generating enough spin and overshooting the table.
Overall, while it compensates for the 968’s poor backhand, it sacrifices too much of the forehand advantage.
The blade felt like an honest OFF. I requested as fast as possible, and I received one with a weight of 94 grams, which is even a fast OFF with a small plus.
However, a huge disadvantage emerges: in light of the latest trends of hard, stiff sponges, boosting, two or three layers of glue, and so on, consequently increasing the weight of rubbers to more than 52 grams when cut, it turns out that in my case, the weight of the racket is 200 grams! You gain in speed, but you lose in weight.
Now about the blade itself: it is visibly made premium, soundly. The center of gravity is somewhere in the middle, between the blade and the handle, so the large weight is not very noticeable to me, but because of this, it is not very convenient to play when transitioning from left to right, and it is not so easy to flip the racket, especially for short pips players. The handle in the Pro series is very comfortable for me.
The fact that the size of the Pro series is increased by 2 mm horizontally and vertically is not felt in any way. It’s just for show. The blade itself is stiff, and Kevlar prevails in it, one layer of the three carbon layers. By sound, stiffness, and feel, I can feel it.
On the other hand, the inner arrangement gives the feeling of a wooden blade, and therefore more control than an outer carbon blade. The arc is medium, and many rubbers will fit, versatility.
But for me, the main disadvantage is that it is very difficult to smash, to make a winning point; you have to try very hard, put in a lot of effort, whether in a topspin, or in an over-the-table spin, or in a banana flick. Something like that. Thank you.
The head is slightly larger than the regular TMXi. It is also slightly faster than the regular version while maintaining the same control.
This blade is demanding, requiring the user to be active with every stroke to maximize its full potential. No laziness allowed!
In the right hands, it will be highly appreciated. Intermediate players may also enjoy it. However, it’s not suitable for novices, except perhaps for display purposes.
I have been playing with this racket for about two months. It provides a very good feeling and is very fast.
Good control and feedback. The size might be awkward for some players.
You must have relaxed offensive strokes to land shots consistently, but it offers good max power.
Good for attacking, but it is head-heavy.
I have personally tried many blades, from Viscaria to Viscaria Super ALC, Hugo Calderano HAL, Primorac Tamca Carbon, and Timo Boll ALC.
The TMXI Pro is by far the best in terms of weight, dimensions, vibrations, and handling. Literally the best feel and execution.
Very good.
Excellent blade, and one of the best on the market.
The only issue is the weight, as it varies a lot, which can affect playing characteristics.
It’s definitely a top-level blade, good for short-to-medium play, and great for producing good spins away from the table.
The handle is more comfortable than the Zhao Dacheng TMX Pro (Zhao’s has a noticeable roughness).
Due to the inner-layer construction and Ayous wood, it has stronger power in reserve.
The forehand produces long, low arcs.
The backhand requires the player to actively generate force.
Very fast blade, as expected! The design is beautiful, and the handle is perfect. Best service!
This blade has exceeded my expectations. It offers superior control and allows for better shot penetration compared to its counterparts.
While it may have a slightly lower ceiling than the W968, it remains a top choice for un-pro players like myself.
5 stars for this excellent product!
I have two TMXi PRO blades from tt11. One weighs 90 grams and the other weighs 92 grams.
The 90-gram blade is slower and keeps the ball longer, offering very good control. It requires a strong strike, suitable for professional players.
The 92-gram blade is a little faster but still maintains very good control. Overall, a good blade, and I experienced very good service from tt11.
I love this bat.
Not very easy to control.
This blade features a blended ALC and ZLC fiber composition with an inner layer construction, combining the characteristics of both ALC and ZLC fibers. It has a large head size of 160x152mm. I paired it with Hurricane 3 for the forehand and Victas V>11 for the backhand.
The forehand performance is very good, although slightly inferior to DHS Hurricane Long 5 (HL5/968). The larger head size provides better dwell time, while the inclusion of ZLC makes it faster off the bounce, making it more suitable for amateur players than HL5/968.
The backhand performs better than any outer fiber blade. Yes, it’s easier to play with than various Butterfly outer fiber blades like Viscaria. It balances stability and speed. The overall feel of the blade is very linear, without any sudden acceleration or hitting a limit. It provides a good feel for control at low power and good speed and spin at high power.
This is a stable, highly forgiving, and well-balanced blade. I purchased it on October 13, 2023, and as of today, November 30, I still have no interest in other blades, effectively ending my search for equipment.
The blade features a mixed fiber composition of ALC and ZLC, with an inner fiber construction, combining the characteristics of both materials. It has a large head size of 160x152mm. I paired it with a Provincial Hurricane 3 on the forehand and a Gewo Nexxus EL Pro 48 on the backhand.
While the forehand performance is slightly inferior to the DHS Hurricane Long 5, it is still very good. The larger head size provides better ball feel and dwell time. The inclusion of ZLC makes it faster, making it more suitable for amateur players compared to the DHS Hurricane Long 5.

The overall feel of the blade is very linear, without any sudden acceleration or hitting a limit abruptly. It provides excellent control at low power and good speed and spin at high power.

This is an amazing product. I’ve used two W968 Prov blades in the past, and this plays better than them in all ways.
As reviewed on YouTube by Table Tennis Gan (link provided), he provides a perfect review. When I bought the blade, he was 100% right.
It also doesn’t have the major issue that all W968 owners face when the explosive glue dies on the blade. As you can see, all pro players need a consistent supply of the blade every few months (e.g., Ma Long, etc.). However, the national version has better spin than this.
Good product and excellent service!
The blade quality is quite good. I tried comparing this blade with the Harimoto SZLC, and the performance is similar. I actually like this blade more. It offers a powerful forehand and a fast backhand. It deserves the price.
This is a very high-quality piece of equipment, offering so much value for the money spent.
The handle is just perfect. The touch is outstanding, though it can offer very high speed.
