The feeling of the rubber is not quite as hard as 47 degrees, but rather closer to 42-43 degrees. The throw angle is medium. It is a good rubber, but it is not suitable for my preferences.

This remarkable forehand rubber is a must-try for table tennis enthusiasts. It boasts exceptional spin capabilities, ensuring that every shot carries the desired rotation and precision.

#3December 2022

I am a Moroccan table tennis player who has played for over 8 years and I have been playing with this blade for 3 years.
My conclusion is that the Andro Rasanter R47 rubber is great for attacks near the table and mid-range. It provides a lot of control and spin, ensures all shots are safe and allows for all types of serves.

#4June 2022

I used R47, FH on a ZLC Hinoki, Stuor CPH blade. I think it is fair to compare this R47 to R50 & V42 that I used recently.

R50 was fast, spiny & aggressive, a real offensive rubber compared to R47, which is a bit lower in every aspect. Most of all is in durability, definitely not as good as R50. I used the R47 for about 2 months & 8-10 hrs/week, it showed signs of wearing already unlike the R50. The V42 is again slower in every department but is really light in weight.

Boosting works really well for this rubber. It provides a very fast speed. The rubber excels in serves and offers a “controlled catapult effect”. The thinner topsheet enhances the feel of the ball. However, without boosting, the arc is very low making it difficult to lift underspin.

If one is willing to boost the rubber every week and reglue it, it is doubtful that a better rubber could be found.

#6December 2021

Sweet backhand rubber. It has good spin and great blocking and punching capabilities.

Goma X

#8April 2021

Very good control, spin, and speed.

#9March 2021

Great rubber! However, you need to play for at least 3-4 hours to unlock its full benefits. The weight for a 157x150 sheet is 48 grams. I played this rubber on a Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon blade backhand and Andro Novacell Off blade forehand.

The R47 is very grippy - quite fast but slower than T05 - it produces a lot of spin - more stable than T05 in pushes - strongly recommended!

#10April 2020

Tough, with little control.

#11March 2020

This is an awesome update of Rasant Spin!

#12January 2020

I used this rubber in a 2 mm thick forehand. I would like to compare it with Tibhar Aurus Prime.

The sponge of Rasanter is slightly softer than the Aurus Prime. The ball enters the sponge slightly. It is a little easier to play with Rasanter.

In terms of spin, the two rubbers are similar. Coping with the plastic ball is easier with the Aurus Prime because Aurus is more powerful.

It is also more stable and easy with smash throw Aurus. It is difficult to decide between the two rubbers.

Been using this rubber on my FH for a couple of weeks, with a max thickness. First impressions are that this rubber is incredible. Switching from a worn-out Evolution EL-S to a brand new R47, I was amazed at the amount of spin that could be generated with this rubber. The speed is fast, it is sensitive to incoming spin, and has a medium-hard feel. For me, this rubber weighed 47g uncut. In conclusion, this rubber is an excellent choice.

UPDATE: After 7 months, this rubber is still very good. After the rubber was broken in, readjusting to the softer feel is necessary. Once you get used to the new feel, this rubber is top quality.

#14December 2019

For me, one of the best universal rubbers. Not for beginners; only players with well-fitting stroke and position game can use its whole potential and control it. The rubber is more forgiving than my other favorites (Fastarc G-1 and Aurus Prime). It works well on any blade; I can use it on both sides. I mostly prefer it on BH. Will use it next season round on TSP Balsa 6.5.

#15November 2019

I think this rubber is just for rotations. The Powerful of 47° is not very good. When we go very strong in the ball, she goes down into the rubber. The feeling to the touch is 42°.

The throw angle is medium, not “medium high.” We must (still) to rub the ball in the topspin. So, this rubber is definitely different to the T05. Playing flat is hard with R47.

I’ve had this Fast Rubber for 3 months now. It’s good for chopping, blocking, and counter-attacking. Using an ALC carbon blade, I have trouble looping underspin with this rubber. When it does go in, it doesn’t have a lot of spin, which I struggle with because I’m a heavy looper. However, spin drive is a strength of this rubber. Sometime it’s hard to control.

Overall, it’s a great rubber. I wouldn’t recommend it if you like using soft rubbers (37*). I tried my teammate’s 37 and what a difference! You can feel the ball in R37 and know upon contact if the ball is going in or not. R47 does not have that feeling.

#17September 2019

It took some time to adapt from R37 to R47, but if you know how to use it, it’s a monster.

This rubber excels in touch play and fast play close to the table and mid distance. Smashes are also very easy to do with it.

#18September 2019

The Spin Machine!!!

This rubber is a true spin machine. It produces an insane amount of spin, making it perfect for players who love to loop and drive. The ball just seems to jump off the table with this rubber. It’s also very durable, so you can expect it to last a long time.

#19September 2019

Good rubber, good velocity for players who play near the table, results in powerful shots with high spin.

#20August 2019

Good for hitters. Inconsistent loops. Not bad for backhand. 05 still mops the floor with it.

#21June 2019

This rubber is a disappointment. It feels uncomfortable and lacks spin. The speed is also average at best.

#22May 2019

I bought this rubber from Aliexpress for $47 with free shipping, which converts to £36. This is much cheaper compared to the shipping charges from other websites.

This ultra max rubber is extremely fast and provides excellent spin. The control is also great. I am using it with a Galaxy T11+ blade. Since it is a high-speed rubber, it is not suitable for defensive players. In my opinion, I believe it outperforms Tenergy 05.

Sin duda alguna, la mejor goma que he tenido.

Gomas probadas: Andro Good, Nittaku Amin, Nittaku Factive, Yasaka Rakza 7, DHS Hurricane 3, Xiom Omega VII Euro…

#24March 2019

I have used the Rasanter R47 for close to a month now, and it is a high-quality rubber. It is heavy and fast, yet still offers great control and good spin on topspin shots.

As an aggressive player who normally loops the first ball back to the opponent, I have found that this rubber generates spin with a lot of speed, even on slow controlled loops. Chopping is also effective, and the rubber is responsive whenever I need to play it.

Most impressively, I am now able to generate more spin on my serves than before. The rubber shines well in counter top spin situations, and I was surprised by the control I have on my blocks as well.

Overall, I highly recommend this rubber to advanced players who are looking to switch to tensor rubbers soon. It pairs well with Allround or Offensive Carbon ply woods. I currently use it on an Andro Treiber CI Off blade for my forehand.

#25February 2019

Andro’s grippy rubber has been consistently impressive over the last five years. This particular rubber features innovative technology, combining a thicker sponge and thinner surface. As a result, it offers exceptional speed and spin. It’s arguably one of the spinniest rubbers on the market, comparable to a speed-glued Adidas P7 multiplied tenfold. Highly recommended for forehand use.

#26December 2018

Played since 1983, I’ve tried them all :)
This is a definite keeper! I play it on a Temper Tech ALL blade with a 2.0 thickness.
The rubber is very comfortable with all kinds of strokes, making it easy and natural to switch from loop to flat hard hit with good control.
It provides very good spin when serving.
It’s probably the best I’ve played and beats the overpriced Tenergy as well.

#27December 2018

Very nice forehand rubber. I will test it more and write a review soon. If you have any questions, just ask. I can say that I like it more than EL-S and MX-S on forehand. On backhand, I am totally satisfied with the MX-S.

#28September 2018

The best rubber I have played with. I have tried 126 rubbers and 53 blades over the past nine years. It took me four to five times to tame this beast, but now we are one!

#29July 2018

Switched from the Rasant Grip since I needed to replace my old one and they stopped making it. So I went with the R47 based on a few reviews and it was the right choice.

This is much spinnier than the grip and the throw angle is a little higher. My power loops were dropping closer in on the table and some of my usual opponents had a way harder time returning my shots and even commented on the increase in spin. Doing my usual serves I could clearly see results from the increase in spin as well.

I don’t think the speed on smashes, drives, etc is much better than the grip, probably just about the same. There is less catapult than the grip based on some passive blocks I did to test but still enough to get balls over the net with some pace if you ever needed to.

I use the R47 2.3 max on FH on my Andro Ligna Off blade. I use V47 in 2.3 max on BH. But I might switch to R47 on BH as well based on how it handles.

#30July 2018

Very good update of the Rasant Grip: the rubber has more power, and the spin is very strong in topspin and serves too. It has very good control in every shot, amazing countertopspin, pushes, and short returns. Not for beginners.

UPDATE 18/06/17: I love this rubber, but the durability is very poor. After 30-40 days, you have to change it if you have training sessions of 7-8 hours a week. I think I’ll go for Donic Bluestorm Z1 or Z2 or DHS Gold Arc 8.

UPDATE 16/07/18: I tried Rasanter R50; if you are able to play with a harder rubber, this is the perfect choice. The spin is higher than the R47, the throw angle is lower, but it has very high durability compared with the R47.

#31July 2018

My review is based on a comparison with Andro Grip. It is a nice update, and it is really faster. Every aspect of the game has been improved:

  • Speed: It is faster than Andro Grip.
  • Spin: It feels like playing with a C-ball and makes it easier to score points with serves.
  • Throw angle: It has a slightly higher throw angle.
  • Short game: It is easy to play short games with this rubber.
  • Blocks: It is good for blocking.

However, there are some drawbacks:

  • Passive shots: If you are out of position and expect this rubber to do the trick, it won’t happen. You have to play all the points, otherwise it is really difficult to control.
  • Control: It has less control than the Rasant Grip.
  • Durability: I haven’t tested the durability for now, but I trust Andro for this.
#32April 2018

Perfect forehand rubber for topspin lovers. It doesn’t get out of control and can spin like a monster. This rubber has surpassed T05, MXP, or the likes. Just don’t pair it with extremely hard blades. Durability is also good.

#33April 2018

This rubber has some great qualities but it’s not without its faults. I’ve used about four sheets now. The speed isn’t as fast as I expected, but it’s still pretty good. The spin is also very good.

However, I think there’s a lot of hype surrounding this rubber. Compared to T05, it’s quite close in terms of performance. But there’s some variation in quality.

Occasionally, it creates a very low throw angle, which forces the ball straight into the net. I’ve never experienced this with any of the other 20+ rubbers I’ve used, including MX-P, EL-P, and T05.

My former pro coach also mentioned this issue. He felt that there might be some kind of defect with the rubber. He tried three of my sheets and all of them had the same problem. Maybe I just got unlucky and got a defective batch, but that’s just how it is. I’ve also used three sheets of V47 and the issue persists.

#34March 2018

Great rubber, played on both sides on an off blade.

Serves have good spin, topspins are fast with good spin, the curve on the ball off the forehand is very noticeable and in faster shots, pushes can be kept short and decently spinny, or pushed deep. Backhand flicking is not great but is okay.

The main complaint is forehand flicking. After upgrading from R42, flicks never land, the spin always affects it too much. Otherwise, a fantastic rubber, definitely recommended to any medium-level player who wants to step up their topspin/offensive game or to a high-level player looking for a good rubber with control without sacrificing speed or spin.

#35February 2018

Best best best!

This is an excellent table tennis rubber. It is very grippy with a hard sponge. It also is very fast. However, the lifespan is a bit short. Table tennis rubber is considered a consumable good. So it must be replaced every few months. Still, for that few months, it will play very well.

#36February 2018

Definitely an upgrade of power grip.
Rocket fast, quite spinny and lots of control.
Best rubber I ever played with.

#37January 2018

Best rubber ever. Better than T05!!!

#38December 2017

This rubber is faster than the Tenergy series, but it can generate nearly as much spin. The noticeable difference is that Tenergy has a sharper feeling when hitting the ball and reacts more violently against spin. However, the Rasanter compensates for this with a little more control.

It’s unclear why so many intermediate players waste their money on Tenergy when they could buy something equally good at half the price.

#39December 2017

A friend told me to try the new Andro Rasanter. Ever since then, I am in love with it. Thanks to the Ultramax sponge and its 2.3mm thickness, the spin that I can generate is massive. This very fast rubber will take some getting used to, but it’s worth it. The ball throw is also higher because it is a new rubber for the 40+ ball. Trust me, this rubber is a killer compared to other topspin rubbers!

#40December 2017

Beast! Like no other rubber out there. SPIN IS AWESOME!

#41October 2017

This one is hard to review. For the first four weeks, it’s great (spin, speed, feel). By the fifth week, you can start to feel the decline (a little less spin/speed/feel) and gets progressively worse in the following weeks.

I mean it’s not unplayable, but it’s just not enjoyable. So if you have the money, it’s great. But for my budget, it’s too expensive.

It could be that I’m used to playing with rubbers for months on end. I could replace TG2 Neo 2 or 3 times a year and be happy throughout (though it clearly does not have the speed of R47).

#42September 2017

Before, I was using Tibhar MXP and Andro Powergrip. Rasanter R47 is faster than Powergrip and has more control. I would give it a 9.0 for control. I feel more dwell time with it than the MXP and more spin than both MXP and Powergrip.

Rasanter R47 is a really good forehand rubber, but for my playstyle, I prefer Cornilleau Target Pro H47 on the backhand because the control in this rubber is the best with a high arc.

#43September 2017

Pretty good rubber that can do it all. The reported durability of 5.8 is an underestimate. Though it was feared that the durability would be very low, it turns out to be quite reasonable.

#44July 2017

#45July 2017

Bought Rasanter R47 ultramax thickness. It is a very fast rubber with great control. As expected, it is heavier than R42. The sponge hardness is just right.

Passive + active block is great. I struggle with BH flick. Loop with this rubber is very nice with medium arc trajectory.

#46July 2017

Amazing rubber. I’m using Ultramax with a Nittaku Acoustic blade. It offers great feeling and control. Compared to many rubbers I’ve tried, it’s the best. It’s not as bouncy as Tenergy, so it has much better control with the same spin. I use it on the forehand or backhand and it performs well against heavy spin. You can even chop some balls with it. It’s not an easy rubber to use like Mark V, but it will boost your game a lot. You can play it on forehand or backhand with no problem, at least on the Acoustic blade. The rating of “very, very fast” may apply to carbon blades. Durability is still under review.

#47June 2017

Some of us, like myself who played back when the ball was 30mm, remember the 2.5 sponge. So when I heard that this rubber had a thinner top but thicker sponge (2.3), I wanted to try it out. Previously, I was using Bluefire M2.

One thing I noticed right away while using different plastic balls was that there wasn’t much of a difference, unlike with the M2. The feeling was great! I could feel the ball grip into the sponge, and I felt I had more control. Yes, it’s fast, especially when you use a very fast blade like I do. But, I could play blocks more aggressively. Even counter topspins were amazing with this rubber. It worked great against pips players as well.

While playing an attacker, he served it fast with pretty good underspin for that amount of speed, but when I returned it, I felt the grip, and it returned it very low and fast with good spin — so good, in fact, that my opponent was so surprised.

This doesn’t mean that the rubber is good for the chopping game away from the table. If you are a modern chopper, this would be great for your offense. In general, this rubber is great for offensive and all-around players who want to put pressure on their opponents and able to defend if their opponents put pressure on them. :) Best rubber ever that I have tried so far!

#48May 2017

Great attacking rubber but it is very fast and lacks control if you have a game that is not based on constant offense. Not sure why people are giving this 9 out of 10 control, that is a joke…

Not a rubber for beginners and even intermediate players will struggle to contain this beast.

#49Long Time Ago...

Second best rubber I’ve ever used, second only to the Yinhe Mercury 2. It is great for forehand and backhand. I highly recommend it for offensive players.

#50Long Time Ago...

Table Tennis Rubber Review

This rubber is excellent. I used it for my forehand and experienced good speed and spin. It also provides an amazing feeling for the ball and sounds great.

However, I found it to be a bit too fast for backhand, which I am not as proficient with. I had difficulty controlling the ball while spinning with my backhand. Overall, it is a really good rubber for forehand.

#51February 2025

Forehand 2.0 is good.

#52February 2025

He estado utilizando esta goma desde hace 2 años, es la tercera vez que la compro. Tiene muy buena velocidad y efecto.

#53November 2024

Buen efecto y curva buena para jugar a media distancia.

#54November 2024

It is a good rubber, has very good spin and control when hitting, it is economical for what it can provide and the similarity to the R48 is not noticeable.

#55October 2024

Expected more spin based on past experience with R48. This was an unremarkable tensor rubber, probably average among the well-known German-made products. On the same blade with a Fastarc G1, it feels very similar to the Fastarc, just slightly less linear and predictable.

#56September 2024

I didn’t try too many brands of inverted rubber, but I like this one for my forehand and the other side with long pips.

#57May 2024

I would say that, beside Nittaku’s Fastarc G-1, this is indisputably the best mid-hard rubber.

#58March 2024

Folosit pe FH.

#59March 2024

This is a classic all-around rubber; currently playing it on both sides and it fits like a glove. Good control, good spin, and good speed.

Of course, there are faster and stickier rubbers out there, but unless you’re a very high-level player, this will offer good performance and good control!

#60February 2024

Los productos llegaron a tiempo y con la calidad esperada.

#61February 2024

Quality-price, a very good rubber. I bought it in max thickness. I am really impressed with it. Definitely a forehand rubber with good grip and really easy to loop underspin (similar to Nittaku G-1 in this aspect).

#62December 2023

This rubber is really fast and provides you with high amounts of spin. It feels really nice and direct for all types of topspin play, but it is a bit unforgiving if you do not execute your stroke at the right timing – the ball simply flies out like a rocket.

#63November 2023

It’s pricey, but I saved up for quality and this is it. I got R42 (BH) and this rubber for my forehand, and I love the amount of spin it generates with slow or fast strokes. It’s got a lot of great control too, but many gears to go faster. The throw angle is a good height for looping. I love this rubber.

#64November 2023

Very good rubber. Not too soft, not too hard, perfect for forehand.

#65November 2023

Great rubber.
Fantastic spin to get the winning shot.
Highly recommended for advanced attacking players.

#66October 2023

Un cauciuc destul de bun ca calitate/preț.

#67June 2023

This is the best rubber for me. And those who haven’t played with these rubbers have missed out a lot.

#68June 2023

This has been my go-to rubber whenever I am doubtful about choosing a rubber for my students. One of the best rubbers.

#69April 2023

Good discovery for me, can spin the ball with good control. I prefer the 2.0mm to the 1.7mm, on an OFF- blade.

#70April 2023

This rubber is excellent for topspin strokes - flick, topspin against backspin, counterloop. It also has good control on blocks and keeping the push short. On the other hand, I struggle slightly with putting lots of backspin on my serves and long pushes - but this is comparing it against tacky rubbers; this rubber has good grip for a non-tacky rubber.

#71March 2023

I am using this rubber on my forehand. It has great spin and speed. Best suited for the forehand in my opinion. I tried Nittaku Fastarc G1 on my forehand before, and R47 is much better than that.

#72January 2023

This rubber is very good, I am satisfied with everything, thank you for the quality product.

#73December 2022

Great rubber from Andro Rasanter.

#74October 2022

Very nice rubber that I am using for my backhand, and using this rubber has improved my game.

#75August 2022

Great spin, great speed. I had max thickness on one side (2.3mm I think) and the next size down (2.1mm I think) on the other. I thought it would work better max on the forehand, but after about 6 - 12 months playing like that, I tried it the other way and it worked better for my game (my playing style is like Alexis Lebron but unfortunately not nearly as good … yet - I’m coming for you Alexis! ;p ). I recently swapped bats with a guy who had a Viscaria with Tenergy 05 max on both sides, and after a full match or two, we couldn’t notice much of a difference. (My blade is an ALC/carbon combo, probably Off or Off + but of no particular repute, but works well for me, especially with these rubbers). I had these rubbers on my last blade too (Joola TPE perform - carbon), and they improved my game from the rubbers I had previous to that.

#76July 2022

Good rubber for experienced players.

#77June 2022

A little bit slower than R48, good for blocking, and has more control than 48R. Good feel.

#78February 2022

Paired this rubber on my Viscaria. The initial 2 weeks of playing were not so good, but after that break-in period, it was bliss. Pure power and good for looping. Blocking is consistent. Opening backspin needed a bit of an open bat angle.

#79February 2022

Love my new rubber.

#80January 2022

The rubber is very powerful and spinny. It can generate a lot of speed and spin and can be very effective on the backhand side. I am really impressed by the rubber quality.

#81January 2022

It is a very good rubber, and the quality and promptness from Tabletennis11 are exceptional!

#82January 2022

I feel this rubber is very good and not expensive. I will use it all the time.

#83January 2022

I have been buying this one for the past three years and am quite happy with it.

#84December 2021

It’s great. Super speed, spin, and great control. It’s a monster and it’s not one of the hardest in the Rasanter series. I use it for backhand and it never fails.

#85October 2021

I have been using it for more than one year. Great for looping.

#86August 2021

The rubber fulfills all of my expectations for speed and control.

#87March 2021

Хороший выбор на VН.

#88March 2021

I was looking for a rubber for the BH of my Ch. Pen. It’s not a tacky rubber but still can make lots of spin. I like it.

#89March 2021

Took a while to get used to this rubber.
BH: Good for flicks.
FH: You need to exert more effort than usual due to its low throw.

#90February 2021

Performs well in all aspects; durability is good. Love this rubber.

#91February 2021

I use it on Gergely Tamca. Fast with good control is the best combination for me. I like it.

#92February 2021

Soft rubber with good control, but not fast enough for advanced players who need instant acceleration for the winning shot.

#93December 2020

Overall, I believe that the R47 is undoubtedly a great rubber for the poly ball. It has relatively high control, in spite of 47 degrees of hardness, which enables explosive shots. The level of spin generated from this rubber is almost as good as the Tenergy series. This rubber can provide a great balance of speed and control with good technique. Additionally, I also believe the price is reasonable for this high-quality rubber! TT11, thank you for your consistently amazing customer service and speedy, reliable delivery - only 3 days to Trinidad.

#94November 2020

It seems to have good characteristics. However, in my mind, it doesn’t seem to grip the ball as well as some of the higher-end rubbers for high spin plays. If you are doing heavy attacks, it works fine and has pretty good speed.

#95September 2020

I bought them for my friend. He is very happy. He put it on the BH side. His BH loops became very consistent and very fast.

#96August 2020

Best backhand rubber.

#97May 2020

Fast, good control, good spin, and very durable. Use it in black on the forehand, and you have to wipe the dust off occasionally - a bit sticky.

#98April 2020

Great.

#99March 2020

This rubber is perfect for my topspin. Recommended ;).

#100January 2020

This rubber (I have it in black, max) has a very fine combination of speed, spin, and control. The grip of the rubber on the ball inspires confidence. It doesn’t feel very hard since the top sheet is not very thick.
This is a medium weight rubber; mine weighed 68.5g.
I don’t have a feel for the durability of the rubber yet, but thin top sheet rubbers like this one usually get nicks in the top sheet fairly easily. I have had no trouble with it in the first 3 weeks, or so. Recommended!

I am using this rubber in max sponge thickness on a DHS 6002 blade. It generates a lot of spin at different speeds and is easy to return underspin. Works well for blocking and fast drives. I will definitely buy this again.

#102December 2019

Very good rubber, if you can adjust to speed. It’s spinny, but man, I hit a lot past the end of the table. Like MX-P, but with a slightly softer feel? And serving short, it’s tough. If you’ve been spoiled by tackier rubbers serving short, this rubber will seem impossible at times to keep it short.
But - it’s a great backhand rubber from mid/long distance, mid-throw, good kick, and did I mention it’s fast?! On the forehand side, I would occasionally net a side-spin loop/drive and wonder, how did that dip into the net?! Maybe it’s just my stroke?

#103December 2019

Good spin control and speed, but lacks durability.

I play in division 2 of my local league and I like to loop off both wings (although I also punch off the backhand).
I started off using the original Andro Rasant, so going from that to the R47 was not a big deal. In fact, I didn’t really notice much of a difference at all (although that might be because I couldn’t push the rubbers to their limits).
I used this rubber (max thickness) on both sides of the Andro Temper Tech OFF for 2 years and have no complaints at all. The rubber was equally good for me on both the forehand and backhand on my Temper Tech.
Once I upgraded to the Boll ALC, I started to notice that my backhand became much more erratic. My forehand continued to be solid (after some adjustment). However, I was unable to get good consistency on my backhand (especially when looping topspin). I think that perhaps R47 was too hard a rubber for me on the Boll ALC. I am now trying MX-P (max thickness) on my backhand and that seems to have helped my backhand issues as MX-P is ever so slightly softer than R47. The rubber is fast, grippy, and lasts quite a while. I would change my rubber every 3 months or so (I play at least 30 mins every day), however, I probably could have continued to use it for a total of 6 months, in my opinion, and saved some money.

I have pretty much used only the Evolution series for the past few years, but I’ve heard so many good things about the R47 that I wanted to try it out for myself. I am only using this on my BH (MXP 50 on the FH) for now as I didn’t know if I would like it or not, but it is proving to be a very nice rubber! It has good speed with very good control and very good spin. I’m still adapting to the rubber as I have only used it for a couple of weeks, but I’m excited to see if I can unlock its true potential. Most definitely worth a try!

#106July 2019

Great feeling and speed. I prefer it over the Tenergy, which is still good as well.

#107July 2019

It is a very good rubber, a good alternative to Tenergy.

#108June 2019

The new idea of a thinner topsheet seems to be working well here. This is the first of the new Rasanter rubbers I’ve tried, and it’s providing good grip and spin for me. My main rubbers are the MX-P and the T-05, so the R47 is a small step down from what I would call ultra high-performance rubbers. But for practice and general playing, the R47 is a good rubber.

#109May 2019

Excellent attacking rubber - fast and spinny, with a good feel on slow/touch shots. It can generate very good spin on serves. Using it on the FH.

#110April 2019

Nice rubbers with great control, would highly recommend.

#111April 2019

Best!

#112March 2019

I tried a lot of different rubbers and then chose this as a cheaper alternative to Tenergy 05. I have been using it consistently for over a year now and love it. I use it in the Ultramax thickness on both sides of my Treiber Z. Compared to Tenergy 05, it has more control with a little less spin but the same, if not more speed. It does wonderfully at looping, touch shots near the net and pretty much everything you need it to as an offensive player. I can use it at the table or at distance, but mid-distance seems to be where it does best. Arc is medium high but paired with the Treiber Z it ends up being medium for most shots. I really have to open the blade angle if I want to get a high arc shot with lots of spin. Durability wise, for the average player, the sheets would be fine for 6+ months of average play 4-6 hours a week. I play 8+ a week and change them 3-4 times a year. Overall, it’s a great rubber and I would recommend it to most intermediate level or above offensive players.

#113March 2019

Very good balance of speed and spin. A lot of spin considering how easy it is to block with this rubber.

#114March 2019

Very good balance of speed and spin. A lot of spin considering how easy it is to block with this rubber.

#115February 2019

I should have purchased R50 instead.

#116February 2019

This Andro rubber has a lot of feeling and it’s very easy to make backhand topspin. Blocking is also very easy too. Buy it if you want a very good rubber.

#117February 2019

Able to execute spiny shots and returns.

#118January 2019

Good rubber, grippy enough.

#119January 2019

First thing to understand is that this rubber is hard. You will need to work to get your spin.
On the good side, the rubber is very controllable and easy to play with if your legs move well. I would not call it super fast, but paired with a good blade this is an excellent choice for attacking players, as the rubber is still fast, spinny, and controllable. One of the things I was very surprised with is how controllable this rubber is in a short game. I use it on the forehand; don’t think this rubber fits as well with my BH playing style.

#120January 2019

The spinniest rubber I have tried. Very good feeling. Among the best rubbers out there!

Speed: 9.6/10
Spin: 9.8/10
Rating: 9.8/10.

#121January 2019

If you’re looking for a rubber that is between the Tenergy 05 and the Tenergy 05 Hard, then look no further. This rubber is awesome. I bought the maximum thickness and the spinning potential is great, with a low arc and a controlled trajectory. You can never go wrong with it. For a hard rubber, blocking is great and it will help with the spin variations when serving. Very well recommended.

#122December 2018

The rubber is very fast and spinny, but it is way too bouncy to put on a carbon blade. Maybe it will work better on an all-wood ALL-ALL+ blade.

#123December 2018

Corrected review text:

Hard rubber, fast, and grippy, yet manageable. Needs good technique to get the most out of it.

#124November 2018

It’s an amazing rubber. It’s fast, creates tons of spin but a little too fast for me. I’m an amateur/intermediate-level player, so for more advanced players, this would be amazing.

#125September 2018

#126June 2018

I’ve had this rubber for a month now. I bought it based on friends’ recommendations and after reading the reviews online. I can’t go wrong with it. It’s perfect for me.

#127March 2018

Similar to Tenergy 05, but at half the cost. Can’t go wrong with this great rubber.

#128March 2018

Cheaper alternative, although comparable to the Tenergy 05.

#129February 2018

Having used over more than 80 different rubbers (yes, it was an expensive search), I ended up using the R47 for more than 8 months now. The control, spin, and blocking capabilities come to their full potential when paired with a stiff blade. Only in the short game, the ball tends to jump up too high.

#130January 2018

It is light and has a good amount of spin and control.

#131December 2017

It has good control and speed when using the forehand of my Stiga Arctic Wood blade.

#132November 2017

Using R47 2.0mm on FH with an all-wood blade, the combination is plenty fast enough. Not super durable, slightly frayed at the edges after only 2 months of play. Not great for short strokes like pushes or flips. Serves aren’t too spinny, fairly decent for blocks.

However, the rubber really comes into its own with a fuller stroke action. It’s great for looping, both in counter topspin rallies or lifting backspin. Smashes and drives are great.

#133November 2017

En prueba para mi juego… mi técnica y sensibilidad… demasiado dura.

#134November 2017

Some rubbers have more power, others have more spin than power. This is not perfect, but this rubber has a great balance of speed and spin. Its emphasis is geared towards more spin than speed, but it’s far from being slow. I play with a fast offensive blade. I have played with this rubber (2.3) for months now, even played with it in tournaments, and I love it for serving, counter-looping, looping, chopping, and blocking! The only issue I have with it is that I wish it had slightly more power.

#135October 2017

Speed is awesome and spin is strong.

Review text:

Very fast rubber with nice control! However, I think my style is not really suitable for this, which is why I am ordering the R42 and R37 to try. I’d recommend this rubber for more advanced and high-level players.

I’ve ordered another set of R versions, the R42 and R37. Hope it suits me.
Overall, awesome rubber! Well done, Andro.

Cheers!

I had a chance to play with these three rubbers in the past four years, and as a 2200 player, I have progressed from Tenergy to R47.
When I started with Tenergy 05, its performance was an explosion compared to the Chinese rubber I was using before - no further explanation required. I am based in the US and a few years ago I had a chance to play on a regular basis with a player from Europe who was sponsored by Andro. After that, I tried Andro Powergrip and never looked back at T05. Reasons? Powergrip is less bouncy, making the game over the table more controllable. Secondly, the spin with the proper strokes and serves was spinnier, as immediately commented on by other members in our club. Third, most important to me is that T05 ran out of power on hard and fast power loops. Powergrip would not bottom out as easily and only add the spin and speed in the high ranges of power play. I must say that for a lower-level player, T05 might be more suited, since it would do the work for you on sloppy strokes.

Now R47 plusses:

  • Does not run out of power in high gears
  • Similar speed to Powergrip (Similar to T05 on the slower end of play)
  • Biggest improvement over PG is that it has restored the arc on my loops that were lost by using the flat-flying G40+ Butterfly balls.

The only negative about the R47 is that some of the bounciness that I really hated in the T05 showed up again, but not as bad.

#138September 2017

Excellent product highly recommended. Just be cognizant to clean the rubber thoroughly after each session. Do not allow any particulates to settle on the rubber overnight or the rubber will absorb that impurity.

#139September 2017

I use it on a Petr Korbel blade, both sides. It’s a good rubber but nothing special that I can say about it. I’m using mostly Xiom’s Vega Pro on several blades, all wood & carbon/zylon ones, including the Korbel, and I can’t feel the difference between the Vega Pro and this one. Maybe it is my problem, but this is how I feel for now, after one month (about 25 hours of play). I use the Ultramax on the forehand and 2mm on the backhand. Kudos to TT11 for the very fast delivery!

#140September 2017

Demasiado rápida para mi revés, me cuesta acostumbrarme.

#141September 2017

I was using Andro Rasant for years, and Rasanter47 is exactly the finely tuned upgrade I needed for a slightly faster blade I have now.

#142August 2017

I took in thickness 2.3 and 2.0. Max is focused on spin, spinning any balls is easy, the catapult is decent, hence a downside - intermediate play and defense with blocks require getting used to. The playing spot forms fairly quickly, it’s hard to say if this affects wear. But it definitely affects the player and it seems like it’s time to change the rubber. 2.3 spins strongly on weak and medium hand movements, with sudden reinforcement ball slips are possible. For power players, I would recommend rubbers with less throw. With 2.0 everything is logical - increasing control and decreasing speed and spin - a significant improvement in flat play. As for durability, it’s a purely individual question, I change rubbers after 60-70 hours of play, some last for years. The spot appears earlier than usual, but I haven’t noticed any loss of qualities in the specified time range.

#143August 2017

Top spin and serving have brilliant speed and control:) Thanks.

#144July 2017

Delivered in 2 days. Good quality.

#145July 2017

If you like balls flying really fast, then get this rubber.

#146July 2017

I’m only a recreational player but trying to improve my skills. Using an Off- blade, I replaced my Andro Beat with R47, as I think I needed a faster blade on my FH these days. I immediately felt the difference. The spin that I can generate, if my timing is right, is definitely much better and faster. Can’t wait to replace my Andro Powergrip with R50.

#147May 2017

I am using the 2.0 version of the rubber for both the forehand and backhand on a Tibhar Stratus Powerwood blade. I was an equipment junkie for a long time, finding a rubber to satisfy the speed, spin, and control that I was looking for. This rubber has the perfect combination of speed, spin, and control for the entire palette of strokes and techniques. This rubber has all the gears you need to execute finesse touch shots with only using the topsheet, and the power you need to play monster loops from back away from the table. Blocks are effortless and the rubber plays very linearly. The feedback I get from the rubber is great. I am very pleased with the durability after using the rubber for about 60 hours in 2 months for both matches and multiball practices.
