For me, S2 and S3 are similar as both are the jewels of Victas.
S3 shines in blocking and hitting. Pseudo topspins are possible but this rubber generates low spin.
S3 is not sensitive to incoming spin and is perfect for returning serves.
Low-medium throw.
Not much deception observed. Your opponent will play easily against this rubber.
Perfect for active players who play aggressively through blocking and power play.
Great durability.
I am happy with choosing this rubber, 1.6 mm. I have the Donic Defplay Senso V3 blade. I used S3 rubber on my backhand to play defensively and cut the balls, both close to the table and far from the table. S3 is also good for blocking, and you can hit backhand topspin, but not with a lot of spin. S3 rubber delivers good underspin but a bit too fast compared to S1, 1.3 mm. The feeling is amazing.
Similar in performance to TSP Spectol Blue; however, the topsheet seems to be a different formula that is less grippy. This only appears to be detrimental when pushing. It is a shame that it does not come in a 1.8mm thickness; the 2mm seems a bit thick, but it is far too much of a jump to 1.6mm.
