After playing many rubbers including Dignics, Tenergy, MX series, etc., and still trying new rubbers for fun, I find that this rubber is the FH rubber for me. I feel the strength of the rubber lies in its ball grab and consistency at and far away from the table.

The rubber doesn’t feel the spiniest or fastest but its level of control combined with high spin and speed makes it amazing in my game. I’ve played this rubber on 5 ply wood and carbon blades, and every time I just seem to have the control and confidence to play the ball aggressively wherever I want.

In fact, I feel so in control during the receive, rally, and 3rd ball a club member, who I generally lose to, lost to me 3-0 the first match we played as he was surprised by how many opportunities I exploited when usually I would be much more passive.

If you have your basics down and want to explore an all-out attacking game, I think this rubber is a great platform that supports any skills you attempt with it.

This rubber is on the heavier side due to its density of the sponge. However, that’s the same sponge that’s providing the basis for a very strong power to this rubber. The surface is somewhat tacky which helps grip the ball. Combined with the catapult from the sponge, you have a rubber that can produce great spin and fast attacks. This is also good for blocking as it has a very strong sponge that would push anything back. The only downside of this rubber is the durability. The tensor kind of goes away after a few months even though you don’t use it. Keep that in mind.

Using it for my backhand. I didn’t expect to be able to play with this, given its hardness. It has amazing control. Great touch for receives, easy to block, amazing grip, good dwell time, great for looping or topspinning. Very direct and precise rubber.

Very fast, good amount of spin, and excellent control.

Besides the very high price, there is nothing to dislike about this rubber.

Great on FH, great on BH, played with people rated from 1000 to 2000 and all like it.

It’s easily one of the best rubbers for both FH and BH.
Great speed and spin for short to mid-level game.
It works well for mid-level players as well.

The only dislike I have is the price…

I like this rubber on both FH and BH.

Pretty good loops, short and long play. I don’t have really good technique, but I’m still able to produce decent shots. People with good technique should have no problems using this.

This is my third purchase of the rubber. Top-notch and I can’t praise enough how good this rubber plays. Great on Hinoki and Koto outers. It’s a great rubber, but look for the discounted price as the current price is a little bit too expensive.

The Hurricane 3 National is a true rival, no doubt. It does everything for you. Works great on both Hinoki and Koto outers.

Use many drive rubbers and this is one that gathers several important points. Hard but manageable sponge, very good effects, a beautiful control both to put the top on the other side of the table and to block or leave a short return of serve. I will use it for a long time. The only detail is that it started to fray at the edge after about 3 months.

I think that I was so used to using tacky Hurricane rubber that this just didn’t work for me.
