I wanted to try this rubber since I am using Donic Baracuda and the reviews I read about this one sounded like it was similar. It’s a grippy rubber, you can create lots of spin with brushing, and when you hit, it’s a rocket, way faster than Baracuda, Rakza 7, and similar. Low trajectory, similar to Fastarc G-1, but I would say that this one is faster. Used it on an outer carbon blade, maybe a wooden blade or inner carbon could be better for this beast (at my current level -playing top leagues in Manchester-). I guess that someone with good footwork and excellent technique could use this rubber really well, I liked the fact that when it went on the table it was so hard for the opponent to react in time, but a bit too fast for my liking.
Es como si el Vega Japan tuviera más spin y un poco más de velocidad.
A well-priced product, good service as always.
Always reliable and fast service with this firm.
Good all-around rubber, but the throw angle is low.
Excelente agarre, lo que ayuda a generar efectos. No es tan sensible al efecto entrante, lo que ayuda con los flicks y loops. La técnica del golpe requiere atención y práctica para su ajuste, la transición se simplifica gracias al agarre.
I’m an intermediate/average club player. I found the rubber highly suitable for my RPB when glued to Hurricane Hao 3 blade. My RPB improved noticeably in terms of speed and control. It’s helping me win crucial points in games. I’m gaining confidence in executing RPB and incorporating it into my game. Highly recommended.
This is an excellent rubber, controllable and spinny, and the color is a nice switch up from the regular black and red. It has enough speed for the vast majority of players, especially when paired with an offensive blade like my Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon.
I find the rubber to be extremely grippy, which helps with spin generation, particularly on loops versus backspin. It is not as sensitive to incoming spin, which helps with flicks and loops. Stroke and technique required adjustments coming from Tenergy 05FX (which I find to be a faster rubber), but the transition is simplified by the improved grip of the Vega Korea.
A very good rubber for BH.
No complaints here.
I bought the blue version of this rubber for my Xiom Hibi O, and it’s great for playing above and near the table. At a distance, I experienced difficulties as most drives from 3+ meters behind the table went into the net, no matter how much I tried to adjust. I imagine this rubber to be very strong for the backhand on a regular blade. The color is really nice too.
Backhand rubber for mid-level players. Ideal for advanced players lacking speed. Good for opening serve receiving when playing with spin. The blue color looks very cool. 45° degree as declared, also it feels nice. A good option if Vega/Omega Pro feels too fast.
